Plastics & Animals

Plastic in the ocean is a huge safety hazard for marine life. Plastic entanglement alone causes the premature death of approximately 100,000 marine animals yearly. Microplastics also contribute to the premature death of marine life. Creatures often accidentally ingest microplastics which accumulate in their body and can cause permanent damage to their digestive and reproductive systems.

  1. Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch since I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! Delphine Noach Harding
